From the architectural vision to the implemented software architecture"

Das Abstract lesen Sie hier:

"Software architects tend to design a vision of a system’s architecture they are responsible for. This vision is usually rather high-level, describing components, their interfaces and the technology and concepts for their interaction. The various development teams that are programming or customizing the components of the software architect’s vision will have to deal with the reality of programming. The complexity that is hidden in the reality of programming will make it impossible for the development teams to reach the software architect’s vision. Therefore software architects should keep an eye on the gap between their architectural vision and the implemented architecture. How large this gap will become and how much the software architect will know about the gap will be crucial for project success or failure. In this speech, software architects will learn how to keep an eye on the gap between their vision and the actual implementation."
